Dash and Lily

If you're in search of your next Netflix holiday binge, the 8 episode rom-com series, Dash and Lily is perfect for the holiday season!  The series is based on the book, Dash and Lily's Book Of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn.  The show is about Dash, a teenage boy who does not like the holidays because of past Christmases and Lily, a Christmas fanatic but bummed out because her whole family isn't spending Christmas together this year.  The two characters eventually communicate with each other through a red notebook that gets left and picked by one another all throughout New York City.  The storyline is super easy to follow and interesting to see what comes next.  Although some parts might be clichè or cheesy, it is a great show to watch to get in the holiday spirit.  Because the show was actually filmed in New York City, you get to see New York decorated for Christmas and see real NYC spots and shops.  Since the main characters are teens and basically only focused on them in the show, many high schoolers or any teenager can relate to them.  Overall, Dash and Lily is a great show to watch to get in the holiday spirit!
