Finally after a little over a year it feels like the pandemic of the Covid-19 is finally coming to an end in the United States at least. There are a lot of vaccines available and it is highly recommended that you get vaccinated. As a lot of you know, that mask mandate in Massachusetts is lifted and capacities are back to normal. However if you haven’t gotten vaccinated yet you might want to keep wearing a mask. Unlike last summer we should be able to participate in a lot more activities in groups! So maybe as soon as school ends we can finally put our masks in storage and see each other’s full face for once. I found it pretty amusing that people we have met during the pandemic make us do a double take when they take off their masks. While we are celebrating the return to normalcy, we should not forget that not everywhere is this fortunate. A lot of countries like India are still struggling with the pandemic and it might be a good idea to donate some money to help get medical care there and vaccines. One place you could donate is called Oxygen for India. So have a great summer Norwell High and get ready for next year!
