This year was another successful homecoming week! We started off the week with color wars where each grade was a different color and they decorated the hallways. There was a lot of spirit from every grade and most people participated. The next day was y2k day where people dressed in a y2k style. There were many jumpsuits that were worn and a lot of 2000s style. Then on Wednesday, it was neon vs. bling day. People wore very bright clothes and a lot of sparkles on this day, but I think neon dominated. On Thursday, it was wall day where the theme was under where? Freshmen were under the weather, sophomores were under the lights, juniors were under construction, and seniors were under cover. Each grade was very different and unique and wore very sophisticated costumes. To end on Friday, it was blue and gold day. This is the day that almost always ends spirit week as it is the school colors. And it was also the day where we found out the winner of spirit week, the seniors. It was one of the most spirited days of the whole week and people really showed off their school spirit. This school spirit helped the Norwell football team to win their game that night. They dominated the other team and the Norwell cheerleaders helped to cheer them on. Even the junior cheerleaders came to cheer with the high school cheerleaders. As for the homecoming dance the next day on Saturday, many students attended and it was fun for all. The dance was decorated as the themes for each grade, and the song choices were perfect. Everyone danced their heart out and it truly was a night to remember. It was one of the best homecomings and we cannot wait for next year!
