This upcoming week, Norwell is going to be full of spirit and excitement during our winter Spirit Week, which brings together students and staff for a full week of fun. Going into our last full week before the winter break this is a great opportunity to have a little festive fun before school is out.

The week kicks off with candy cane day, where students should be dressed head to toe in red and white. Almost looking like candy canes the school is going to be full of spirit and probably hungry all day just thing about candy. As well as that, on Monday there will also be a holiday door decorating competition.

On Tuesday, flannel day, students are expected to dress at least with a flannel but I’m sure some may even be dressed head to toe in a flannel and flannel pajamas. This flannel day, similar to pajama day allows students to get comfy in flannels but show a little holiday spirit while doing it.

Wednesday brings let it snow day, where one should wear anything that screams winter. It’s likely to have so much creativity this day, as “let it snow day” is not too descriptive.

By Thursday, Holiday Hat day, everyone should be wearing some sort of holiday hat. Whether a Santa hat, reindeer ears, or even just a red hat the festivity will be glowing and all should be excited for the holidays.

Finally, anything but a backpack day caps off the week, as it is the most exciting day yet. Almost everyone is likely going to participate in today as it doesn’t even have to do with the holidays, just having fun. This day includes people bringing all there stuff to school in a wheelbarrow or trash can, really just something fun that’s not a backpack.
