The Norwell Clippers football team, competing in Division 6, delivered a strong season marked by big wins and a deep run into the postseason, making it all the way into the MIAA state championship. The Clippers finished the campaign with an impressive overall record of 9-4, securing a 3-1 finish in the competitive South Shore, Sullivan League which showcases the team's consistency on both sides of the ball and proving their ability to be serious contenders again next year. The season’s success was highlighted by a series of dominant performances, particularly in the playoff structure. Norwell secured three consecutive postseason victories, demonstrating their ability to win under pressure. These included a commanding 30-0 shutout win against Case and a convincing 41-14 defeat of Pentucket Regional. The most pivotal win came against Hudson, where the Clippers earned a hard-fought 21-7 victory to advance to the state championship against the Fairhaven Blue Devils. In the end, they were beaten 28-14. Individually, several Clippers stood out, demonstrating elite capability. The passing game was a good route to victory with Charlie Hajjar averaging 110 receiving yards per game. This vital production allowed the offense to stretch the field and create scoring opportunities against tough opponents. On the defensive side, Christian Farias provided reliable leadership in the secondary, tallying 1 interception and consistently challenging opposing receivers. While the successful season ultimately ended, the Norwell Clippers achieved an impressive 9-4 record and have momentum and strong foundation for more successful seasons in years to come.

Norwell lost in an exciting 28-14 victory to Fairhaven out of western mass. The running back of Fairhaven, a great player, was an absolute tank on offense. At this game you could expect it to be freezing on a December night at Gillette. It was a whooping -2° and it was necessary to wear multiple layers. I myself had 2 sweatshirts, a ski jacket, and warm beanie which was essential to help my body maintain homeostasis. This game was back and forth all game. It had sprouts of good and bad from both teams. One team would pull away and the other team would answer right back. It was a great game in a very good atmosphere. The Norwell fans had the game packed cheering, and being loud. Fairhaven had a very exciting celebration at the end hugging the fans and their families while Norwell sadly lost. If you drove to the game you would have known it was brutal traffic the highways backed up just such good foreshadowing towards and just building up your excitement.

Over all Norwell had a wonderful season filled with teamwork, dedication and grit. Coach Pithie organized a team that was not only skillful but also had unmatched chemistry. This team was full dedication when they were down 14. In crowd and on the field the level of intensity did not drop.
