Welcome Mr. Bender!

When asked “How do you feel about our new principal, Mr. Bender, this is how the students of Norwell High School responded: 

“Mr. Bender has been incredibly accommodating and enthusiastic so far as a principal this year! As a student I appreciate how he is doing everything he can to make this year as normal and as fun as possible. Thank you Mr. Bender!”

“I love how much Mr. Bender got into spirit week this year and his amazing costumes - it was really cool to see not only students dressed up but our principal too!”

“I love him. He’s very involved and interested in learning about us to make us feel welcome and involved.”

“I think Mr. Bender has done a great job quickly adapting and becoming a great member of our school community. He is super approachable and easy to talk to, which has made cooperate so well with all of the students.”

“Even though the interactions I've had with Mr Bender are limited, he has always had a very warm present. He makes an effort to show kindness to all of his students, and it feels like he actually wants to be involved in all of the student-led activities.”

“Mr. Bender has been a great addition to our school community, especially in this difficult time. He is very interactive with students and you can tell he really wants to get to know us.”

“I think he’s done a good job so far with being a principal and keeping everyone safe during such a difficult time.”

“My favorite thing about Mr. Bender was how fun he made spirit week with all of his different costumes!”

As seen from all of these raving reviews of our new principal Mr. Bender it’s pretty obvious that he’s well liked throughout the school. Whether it be saying hello in the halls or going all out for spirit week or trying to make this year the best it can be for his students, Mr. Bender continuously puts his students’ needs first.

Especially during such a difficult year Mr. Bender has shown how well he is able to run our school and look out for the students’ best interests. On behalf of the students of Norwell High School we are excited to see what you accomplish in the rest of your time as our principal!
