Mr. Bender, the new principal at Norwell High School, has had the tough job of arriving into a new school during all of this pandemic craziness. Prior to accepting the position in Norwell, he was the assistant principal at Wellesley Public Schools. Mr. Bender enthusiastically welcomes the high schoolers throughout the day as they come into school and makes sure to try to get to know all the faces under our masks. I have never passed him in the hall without a “Good morning!!”, “Have a great day!!” or “How’s it going!!”. It is evident that he cares about his relationship with every student and faculty member, wanting to create a sense of community here. Starting a new job during this Covid 19 time must be hard but he has done an awesome job and we are happy that he is here in Norwell. Thank you Mr. Bender!!
