The American Dream
The American dream is something that many people are chasing but only few have achieved. In the way that America currently runs it is impossible for all to grasp what is considered the American dream. Those who have achieved the general view of the American dream could have achieved it in a few different ways; Hard work and determination, Luck, Intelligence, or they were born into it. These are just a few more obvious examples on how people would achieve the American dream. These examples go hand-in-hand because many people will need and have used multiple of them to achieve the American dream. Those who have not grasped The American dream are held back by limited opportunities and or work ethic. There will always be the lucky few who will make it but the vast amount of Americans who are at the top are likely to stay there, making it more difficult for many people to break into that percent of people living a safe, financially stable, “ideal” way of life. Although the American dream is what many others saw life in America as, people of many other nations are beginning to see that not all that go to America will receive ideal lives. This original preconception is what America tries to project onto people of other nations. Making those who live in those nations want the American life, and many people who have come to America to pursue their dreams of life, liberty, and justice may be surprised about what they may experience.
