Sailing 2022

Although it got off to a rough start, sailing is a go for the 2022 season! Earlier this winter the Norwell/Notre Dame Academy sailing team wasn’t sure if a season was in the foreseeable future however they are very grateful to Mrs. Gordon and a parent of one of the Norwell sailors for stepping in to make the season happen last minute. Sadly the team wasn’t able to get out on the water for the first two weeks but now that they are up and running not a minute will be wasted. The boats were rigged and put in the water this past weekend and will be out in Hull Harbor all week. Sailing is one of the most enjoyable sports if you love the water so do not hesitate to email Mrs. Gordon if you are even remotely interested in joining the team because they could always use new members. Or if you want to see if you like sailing for next year's team, there are many great programs over the summer where you can sign up for a class to see if sailing is what floats your boat. Some great programs are offered at Hull Yacht Club and Hingham Maritime Center. New members are always welcome and the sailing team hopes to see you out on the water with them next year!
