Pumpkin, It's Back!

Getting back into the swing of things at the beginning of school can be challenging, but there are some upsides. The cool weather, the changing leaves, and the return of seasonal Starbucks drinks flavors! When studying gets stressful, it is important to reward yourself for working so hard. What better way to treat yourself than with a trip to Starbucks? The Starbucks fall menu has hit the ground running with a variety of new and classic handcrafted drinks for all to enjoy.

As of August 22nd, Starbucks released their fall menu, which marked the return of the beloved classic: The Pumpkin Spice Latte. This beverage is their most popular seasonal drink, enticing many pumpkin lovers with hints of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. It can be topped with whipped cream, and garnished using a dusting of cinnamon. Personally, I think you can’t go wrong with a cozy Pumpkin Spice on a breezy fall afternoon.

Next up on Starbucks’ seasonal menu is the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. Similar to the Pumpkin Spice Latte, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is a returning, highly-anticipated customer favorite. The cold brew aspect makes this drink a slightly less heavy taste as the Pumpkin Spice Latte, but you still get a hint of pumpkin with the topping of pumpkin cream cold foam and a pumpkin spice dusting. While the temperature has not yet dropped, this is the perfect cold drink to both refresh and create a warm, autumn taste.

Last on the docket for pumpkin fall favorites is the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai. This drink made its debut to the Starbucks Fall Menu last fall, and it has returned with the same punch as last season. This cold beverage combines the spice of the chai blend with the rich pumpkin cream cold foam. It is dense, delicious, and definitely the best chai flavor combo.

Next up, are the newly added apple flavors! First is the debut of the Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai. This creation was customized by customers and designed by developers to introduce a delicious new medley of chai spices and apple, cinnamon and brown sugar to the fall menu. This drink is both nostalgic as it tastes like homemade apple pie, but also a great dairy-free option for all!

Another returning fan-favorite is the Apple Crisp Oat Milk Macchiato. Served both hot and iced, it has layers of cream and espresso, and is drizzled with apple spice!

Finally, is the Iced Apple Crisp Oat Milk Shaken Espresso. A sip of this drink will send you into full fall mode. It has notes of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar, and is topped off with a tasteful splash of oat milk.

Overall, Starbucks’ Fall Beverages offer a wide range of flavors and tastes which all perfectly represent the feeling of fall in a singular sip. If you haven’t yet, run, don't walk to Starbucks either before or after school to treat yourself with some fall fun!
