Override

The town of Norwell is going through an educational override. If it gets voted down, then we lose a lot. Teachers lose their jobs, school gets cut off from the great things, and we lose sports teams. As someone who’s had family members lose jobs over an override, I believe that the town should vote yes. If the town votes yes, we remain the same. If we don’t vote yes for the override, we lose a lot of Jv sports teams as well as all freshman teams, that leaves no development for the programs at all which leads to less success. The school is known for being all around great, and we could be losing all of that. Nearby towns that have voted down overrides have recently dropped in the school rankings and sports rankings and are able to do less things due to the budget.  Not only are there schools going down, housing is going down. The town needs this override to stay the way that we want it to be. With having family members who  have been affected by an educational override, I believe that we need to vote up on the override. I hope that as a town we vote yes on the override of the education.
