Norwell Varsity Lax Season

So far, the boys varsity lacrosse team has played 16 regular season games. They have had a pretty good season and have done well. Their first game was against Sharon High School, which was a tight game that Norwell won 12-10, making them 1-0 to start the season. They then beat Rockland 15-1, making them 2-0. Next, NHS took on Xaverian, a great team which Norwell beat 11-10, which made them 3-0. Going into the middle part of the season, the boys beat Hull, 17-4, Middleborough, 19-2, then took their first loss to Falmouth High School in a close match, 5-6. They went back to winning, beating Abington 18-6, but lost to Westport Academy and Westwood High School 9-14 and 5-11. In the next game they took on the Hanover Hawks, beating them 14-0, and had a rematch against Falmouth which they won 7-5. After that game, their record was 9-3. The game after that was against Sandwich High School, which they beat 13-5, then the next 3 games were all wins, beating East Bridgewater 16-2, Mashpee 17-9, and Catholic Memorial High School 15-8, making them 13-3. Their most recent game, against Cohasset, they were defeated 11-12, The Norwell Clippers are now 13-4, and have 2 upcoming games against Scituate and Newburyport. Go Clippers!
