This year because of COVID-19 the hockey season started late but nevertheless it didn't stop the girls, even after getting quarantined for two weeks. The team played their first game at the Zapustas arena facing Scituate. Norwell took their first win with the final score 5-1 and freshman Colby Cantor scoring all 5 goals. Again at the Zapustas, the girls played their second game against Hanover coming in with a tie and the final score being 2-2. The girls had their first loss against Duxbury at The Bog with the final score being 3-0. The team had their second tie of the season against Hingham with the final score being 2-2 once again. The girls had their second loss, yet again against Duxbury, at the Bog with the final score being 3-1. The last game the girls played before getting quarantined was against Marshfeild at Hobomock and brought home a win with the final score being 3-2. Unfortunately after finding out that the team had been in close contact with someone with COVID-19, the girls had to quarantine for 2 weeks. They will be allowed back on the ice on 1/31 and will be playing their first game against Hingham on the day they are no longer in quarantine. Go Clippers!!
