Norwell Clippers Off to Hot Start

Norwell football has been on a roll so far this year, the Clippers have started off really hot with an impressive 3-0 start running up the score on Nauset, West Bridgewater and South Shore Votech. This week Norwell faces their toughest opponent yet with Abington. Abington is also off to a hot 3-0 start and has put up points on all of their opponents. Norwell has a new starting Quarterback Jack Lucarelli, a freshman who got the starting job after Colin McCarthy tore his ucl week one in Nauset. Jack has done a good job so far this season, winning Offensive Player of the Game in his first start. Linebacker Jake Touhey has been dominant this season laying earth shattering hits and showing people who he is. Norwell’s offensive line has also been dominating this year blowing everyone off of the ball and showing everyone all of the work they have put in this off season. The Breakfast Club weightlifting program last offseason has vastly improved the whole Norwell team: 3 days a week at 6am the members would arrive at the school and get active with the help of the offensive coach Pithie and these students grew a lot stronger this offseason which is really showing onn the field this year. The Breakfast Club has proven very integral to the success of the team and how they are able to push every team off of the ball that they have played this year.
