Norwell Boy's Baseball
Norwell boys baseball is on fire this season! They've had some impressive wins, and it sounds like they're ready to take on Mashpee on April 24th. Last year's 10-4 win against Mashpee must have been epic, and I have a feeling they're about to repeat another dominant win this time around.
It's awesome to hear that Norwell is off to a hot start with a 3-2 record. That's definitely something to be proud of. The team's bats have been on fire, with big wins over Abington, Falmouth, and Rockland. And, senior Jack Magee threw a no-hitter in five innings against Rockland!
I'm excited to see what captains Colin McCarthy and Liam Shepherd bring to the table against Mashpee with their five doubles combined against Rockland really helped propel them to the win over Rockland. It sounds like they're leading the team with their stellar performances. With their leadership and the team's strong start, Norwell has a great shot at continuing their winning streak against Mashpee and making a deep run into this year's playoffs.
As for Mashpee, it seems like they're also off to a decent start as well with a 1-1 record. Their recent 10-6 win against Carver shows that they can put up a fight. It'll definitely be an interesting matchup between the two teams.
I hope you'll be able to catch the game and cheer on Norwell! It looks like it's going to be an exciting game. First pitch will be at 4:30 in Mashpee, at Mashpee High School. And Jv baseball will also have a game at 4:30 in Mashpee. So try your best to be there and cheer on Norwell!
