Girls Varsity Soccer

This past week, Norwell played in two games in the MIAA D3 tournament. On Sunday, November 5th, NHS Girls Varsity Soccer played against Martha’s Vineyard. The game started slowly with a 0-0 score at halftime. Hannah Morse scored with an assist from Mandy Smith on 48 minutes. Ari Veneto scored for Norwell with an assist from Olivia Fiorella 57 minutes in. Hannah Morse added another goal for NHS with an assist from Kelsey Tuttle with 15 minutes left in the game. The Girls Soccer got a win with a final score of 3-0. On Wednesday, November 8th, the NHS played in their playoff game against Auburn. Anja Johnson scored an early 1-0 lead with an assist from Eden Wheeler against Auburn 3 minutes into the game. Hannah Morse scored with an assist from Paige Flander 25 minutes in and gave Norwell a 2-0 score. Alley Kelley scored the final goal with an assist from Hannah Morse 65 minutes in. Norwell won 3-0 against Auburn and advanced to the Elite 8. Congratulations to all the girls on the NHS Varsity team for such a successful season!
