From Wins to Losses, and Back to Wins: The Celtics Regain The Number One Seed

The Boston Celtics started off the season super hot with a 5 game win streak and took control of the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. In game six and seven of their season, the chemistry flunked and we suffered two losses. The first game we lost by 5 in overtime and the second game we lost by 3 in regular minutes.

After the heartbreaking loss to our rivals, Philadelphia 76’rs, we triumphed back for a big win. On November 10th we played the Brooklyn Nets and got a nice double digit lead win pushing us back into the win column after suffering two consecutive losses. After beating the Nets, we continued this impressive performance streak and are currently still on a win streak with four wins in a row, hopefully five tonight.

Tonight, Friday 11/17, we can extend our win streak to five and become 10-2 and hopefully jump the league's power rankings to number one since we will be tied with the Nuggets for best records in the league. Tonight in Toronto we will face the  Raptors in a highly anticipated game because it is game number two for us and the Raptors first game for the in season tournament.

Toronto is 5-6 and sat in 11th place in the east. Toronto is definitely a team of the past. Back when they had Kawhi Leonard and other young players was when they were a good championship team but now they are average at most. The Celtics average 118 points this year vs the 100 points the Raptors average, so statistically we should win this game pretty easily. We should also win because the Celtics have more stars. We also have so many decent role players like Derrick White and Jrue Holiday.

Overall super excited to watch the team play tonight especially because its a Friday night game, so I can stay up. Hope we secure the win and move to 2-0 in the in season tournament and 10-2 for regular season.
