The last week of January the Norwell freshman basketball team won two out of their three games. The first game was on Wednesday the twenty seventh, the team played Carver and beat them by fourteen points. After winning the first game easily, the freshman boys walked into the next game against East Bridgwater confident. The team started off the game poorly and were down at halftime. Eventually they pulled ahead of East Bridgwater and won the game. The last game of the week was on Friday, the boys were going up against Rockland. Once again, the team was very confident because they had beat this team before. After starting off the game slow and missing a lot of shots, the boys couldn’t pull the game together and just kept getting beat on defense. The freshman ended up losing by over thirty points and are looking to redeem themselves by winning all of their games next week.
