Final Four: NHS GVS and BVS
Norwell is getting pumped up because on Tuesday, November 19 the boys and girls soccer teams are playing in their final four games in the state tournament. This is an amazing achievement for all of these young students. The boys coached by Mike O’Day only lost one game this season winning nineteen and tied two. They are playing Dighton Rehoboth Regional tonight hoping to come out with a win to advance to the state finals; on the other hand, the girls team hasn’t lost one game. They have a record of 11 wins, zero losses and one tie. Tonight they are playing Nipmuc Regional also hoping to pull out a win to advance to the state finals. Even with a new coach this year, the girls have still been able to pull off an amazing season. The boys and girls teams have amazing talent and amazing seniors who have pulled off an outstanding final season in their high school career. The boys and girls teamwork and chemistry on the field have been extremely important in every game making their game electric, and they are determined to bring their best efforts tonight. Both teams have the support of their families, friends, and especially Norwell students. Win or lose, their journey to the final four has already made them champions in the eyes of their community. Let's rally behind them and show our support as they aim for victory and a spot in the state finals. Go Norwell! Let's get to the finals!!!
