Fall Choral Concert

This year's fall chorus concert was a huge success! Whereas last year the one and only chorus concert had to be outside because of covid-19 restrictions, this year the chorus group is back to normal. With a total of ten students in the group, they were able to be back in the auditorium with many spectators. The group sang a total of five songs, Twaingia, which is an East African folk song, Homeward Bound, Jubilate Deo, A Red Red Rose, which is based on a poem, and Kwaheri, which is an African song. These songs were the choice of the new Chorus director, coming from Vinal Elementary School, Ms. Mederios. The past Chorus director, Mrs. Cortright, who had been teaching Chorus for the past fifteen years, was in the audience and almost everyone but the Freshmen had her in the past so they talked about their favorite memories with her and made a gift basket for her. Overall the group was very proud of what they accomplished and happy to be heard by so many people in the comfort of the warm auditorium again.
