Exercise

The importance of exercise is astonishing. Exercise helps with many things, including depression, anxiety, and stress. Working out can help a person de-stress, improve memory, sleep better, and improve the mood. The reason exercise boosts a person's mood is because when a person exercises, endorphins are released into the body which are a trigger for a positive mood. Along with everything else, exercise helps people by just getting away from everything else that is going on and allows them to focus on something that is fun and enjoyable. Although exercise is something that is very important during all seasons, it is especially important during the winter because it gets darker earlier and people tend to get lazy, cold, and tired. By getting up and exercising during the winter, people are happier, feel good at the end of the day, and feel as though they achieved something in these not as bright months. A goal that you should set for yourself is getting out and exercising at least two or three times a week and see how it changes your mood and overall feeling about yourself.
