Dumpster Fundraiser and Stu Gov Update

     The junior student government hosted a Dumpster Fundraiser Sunday, June 2, at Norwell Middle School. The event was a resounding success with over $1500 raised for student government. Student volunteers helped load all the trash from various cars and trucks into the dumpster. Interesting items included a toilet, a vacuum, couches, a board game, a fertilizer spreader, and many more. The fundraiser was organized by elected delegate Addie Amon. Her cheer coach graciously allowed the student government to use the dumpster. Junior student government hopes to run this fundraiser again next year because of how successful it was. In other student government news, elections were held Friday May 31, and as of now the winners have yet to be announced. There will also be a student government meeting at 6 pm Wednesday June 5, the last of the year.
