Congratulations Team 348! Great Robot and Awesome Teamwork!

The Norwell High School’s Robotics Team, 348, had a great weekend at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Team 348 had their last regular season competition at WPI and hoped to do well in order to qualify for the New England District event taking place the next week. The team did great during their qualification matches finishing in 19th place and going 5-7. During Alliance selection, Norwell Robotics were selected by team 3205 to join Alliance 5. Alliance 5 won their first match against Alliance 4 and also beat Alliance 1 by 3 points in a close match. Team 348 and their Alliance partners beat Alliance 6 to make their first finals of the season. In The finals, Alliance 2 beat Alliance 6 to win the event. Even though team 348 lost, they still played awesome and qualified for the district championship event, but they did not attend because they could not raise enough money for the trip. During the 2023 Charged Up season, Team 348 played 32 matches and won 13 of them. What an historic season for the team! The excitement continues with a Formula 24 race in Rhode Island in mid May, plus the Beantown Blitz and hosting a self balancing robot competition in the fall.
