Gilmore Girls

            Nostalgic and heartwarming Gilmore Girls is the fall show. Taking place in the small town of Stars Hollow Connecticut the show is centered around single mom Lorelei and her daughter Rory. As we follow Rory and Lorelei through their daily lives, we watch as they deal with the difficult family dynamic with Lorelei’s parents, Rory’s academic journey with the overall goal of going to Harvard, and both girls begin to navigate through new romantic relationships. 

Never Have I Ever

          Never Have I Ever is about a teenage girl, Devi, mourning the loss of her father while also navigating through the difficulties of being a teenager. We look at how she handles problems related to friendship, peer pressure, romantic relationships and challenging family dynamics. She also is facing academic challenges related to the college admissions process. Never Have I Ever has a “back to school” vibe making it a perfect choice of a show to watch in the fall.

Gossip Girl

          Based on the book by Gossip Girl is about the lives of wealthy New York City teenagers while all of their gossip and scandals are reported online by an anonymous blogger going by the name of “Gossip Girl”. Centered around two best friends, Serena and Blair, and their close knit group of privileged friends, we watch how they work through constant drama and begin to have mature and meaningful relationships. And of course the iconic high end fashion of the early 2000s. This is the perfect show to watch in the fall because of the series academia and autumnal aesthetics.  

The Perfect Couple

Newly released this September, The Perfect Couple is another good show to watch in the fall. The show is about a wealthy dysfunctional Nantucket couple and how everything changes the night before their son's wedding when a wedding guest is found dead. This show is great for anyone who enjoys solving mysteries and for anyone feeling nostalgic for the summertime.
