2022 Freshman Kickoff: The Energy was GREAT!

2022’s Freshman Kickoff was a HUGE success. Throughout the day, the freshmen and their peer educators went around to stations on the turf that helped with teamwork and team bonding. Some stations included human pretzel; jump rope; reverse charades; rose, bud, and thorn; this is a what?; and so much more! After each homeroom completed each station, there was pizza provided for everyone! Next, all the homerooms returned to their teachers' classroom, and there they made a poster that best represented their homeroom team and came up with a skit. Some options for the skit were an actual skit, a song, or a dance. Every homeroom decided it was their best bet to come up with a dance that went along with a song. From there, everyone returned to the turf and bleachers and each homeroom got the chance to show their amazing dances. There wasn’t one dance that wasn’t entertaining‌! In almost every dance there were flips thrown and the energy was out of control! At the end of the day, each grade returned to the school and the Norwell High School PTO provided a Kona Ice truck. Everyone got a nice treat to end their day of fun. Shout out to the PTO because it was so very nice of them to rent the truck for us to make such a great end to such a great day! Thank you to all the peer educators, teachers, and staff who helped with Freshman Kickoff, the freshman and even the peer educators had an absolute blast and it was a very nice way to get to know one another!
