The Nuts and Bolts of the Robot

This week Norwell’s Robotic team 348 has been hard at work from booking our trip to Florida to rebuilding the transmission, so it runs for this year’s competitions. Some kids had to clean out the transmission, take it apart, and replace multiple bearings in the transmission. The newly built transmission know runs smooth like buttah! With only 2 weeks left to build the robot the team has gone into crunch time to get the arms on the robot and the ball pickup mechanism functioning and working without any bugs. The coding team has been working really hard and wrote code using the old code and the new method, so the drive team can drive the robot. The new method of coding is challenging now, but as soon as our witty coders learn the new method it will be easy for years to come. We need to learn the code because this style of code is the future of code. As you can see the Norwell robots team #348 has been hard at work with Mr Kowalski’s help. He has been on and off the phone for days scheduling our competitions and trying to get the best accommodations for the team while staying inside the budget. The team has competitions in northern Connecticut, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Florida. Thanks KWOL!
