Welcoming Madame Mejdi

To truly know someone, one must examine their roots. For Madame Mejdi, those roots are planted 851 miles away in Morocco. There, Madame grew up speaking Arabic and French, later living in France and Switzerland. There, Madame studied to be an engineer; we are so lucky to have a teacher with such a diverse cultural and educational background. After moving with her husband and two daughters to the states, Madame began teaching French at Sharon High School. She loves teaching because it allows her to spend lots of time with her family as well as educate students on a part of her culture.

In America, the greatest cultural difference has been how big everything is, from food to roadways. And, speaking of culture, Madame’s favorite French movie is Les Intouchables.

We welcome Madame Mejdi to the high school, and we hope that she is with us for a long time to come.
