Charity Wars

What’s the most exciting part of Thanksgiving week? Why, Charity Wars, of course!! Here is what you need to know:

Charity Wars is a tradition started last year in which each grade chooses a charity to support. On Tuesday November 20, dress up in the color of your charity and bring in donations of any size for your grade’s cause to see which grade can collect the most money! Below is the list of charities and colors.

Freshmen

The class of 2022 will be decked out in camouflage and black in support of their cause the Wounded Warrior project. So, if you are in the class of 2022, bring on the camo and black to show support and thanks for the men and women who risk their lives protecting our country.

Sophomores

Join the class of 2021 in ridding the ocean of harmful plastics! Bring in funds to support The Ocean Cleanup, an innovative project working to clear the Great Pacific Garbage patch. Sophomores, wear green to show your support!

Juniors

Help the juniors support the very important cause of domestic violence awareness, a cause that unfortunately not many people talk about. Juniors, show your support for this important cause affecting women, girls, and people all around the world by wearing purple!

Seniors

For charity wars, the senior class will be decked out in light blue in support for Alopecia Awareness. Alopecia areata, or AA, is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks the hair follicles on the body, leading to hair loss. So, seniors, bring on the light blue in support for this worthy cause!

No matter who collects the most money, four worthy causes will be supported and we will have a great time along the way.

Happy Fundraising!
