Freshman Kickoff Day
This years freshmen kickoff day was a huge success. Every freshman homeroom had a lot of energy and was very enthusiastic. The senior peer educators ran twelve different games and stations while each homeroom, led by their homeroom parents, rotated through them. The weather was great and everyone had a lot of fun! Being a senior peer educator, running freshmen kickoff day was a really cool experience. I’d had so much fun participating my freshmen year and as a homeroom parent junior year. This years skits were awesome, and every homeroom came to the stage with a lot of energy! The senior peer educators started off the skits with a dance of our own, which was very fun to make and set a good tone to kick off the skits. Overall, we were all impressed with the energy and fun the freshman class brought to freshman kickoff day!
Freshmen Kickoff Day was a blast! As freshmen, we really enjoyed getting to know our homeroom classmates and peer educators. The various games and activities were super fun and created an energetic environment among the homerooms. Each game provided a difficult task that we had to overcome by getting closer to the people in our homeroom. Additionally, the skits and dances that each homeroom came up with showed the unique strengths and talents each homeroom brings to NHS. The energy of being onstage made everyone let loose and put aside all their insecurities. Freshmen kickoff day as a whole made all the freshmen feel more connected and created life-lasting bonds in all of the homerooms. Thanks peer educators for a great day!
