Canada
Canada, you could say it's just like America except it's a little colder, diverse, and you hear sorry a lot. Over winter vacation I went to Canada and noticed a few things that are different there. It was a lot more colder there specially because I was in Toronto by the lakes. Everyone had on a huge winter parka and looked like they were dressed for a blizzard. One thing I really noticed was the diversity. When I was walking in the streets of Toronto there were so many different races and cultures, everyone was different and unique. The politeness of every single person I passed was pleasantly surprising. Everyone seemed very pleasant and very happy to help you navigate the city. I took the train and the subway to the city and every single person was very friendly. Strangers would come up to me and give me directions because they saw I was lost, which was surprising to me because that would never happen in Boston. Passing by the transit workers they all said hello to me and asked how I was doing, even making sure I was okay. It was amazing how kind everyone was and it didn't seem to be out of the ordinary, it seems to be just how Canadians are. The transportation there is also well run and overall clean. The GO transit is one of the main uses of transportation in southern Ontario. You can take it to the city from really anywhere in Toronto into or out of the city and has an underground area to the subway with transit workers everywhere to help you navigate the system. The GO train makes it very simple and easy to get to your destination. Just sit back, relax and look at all the things Canada has to offer as you ride by.
