Lexi's Monthly Musical Review: December
Hello readers, and Happy Holidays! This month I will be reviewing the happiest holiday musical to ever hit Broadway, Elf The Musical! So, sit back and enjoy the show!
Synopsis:
William "Buddy" Hobbs, a young orphan child, mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. Years later, Buddy finds out that he's an ordinary human and heads off to New York City in search of his father, Walter Hobbs. Buddy finds his father, but Walter doesn't believe in the spirit of Christmas, nor do many other New Yorkers. The lack of Christmas spirit proves to be a problem because Santa's sleigh is powered by the people's belief in Christmas. Buddy is faced with the harsh reality that Walter is on the naughty list and his half-brother, Michael, doesn’t even believe in Santa. However, Buddy is determined to win over his birth family and help New York City remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Review: This is a very joyous musical! I listen to the soundtrack every year during December! Although, the only thing holding it back from being a well known musical is that it's not performed year round, and is only performed during the holidays. However, it's still a fun soundtrack to listen to!
Age Group: This musical is appropriate for kids ages 6 and up!
