Spaghetti Dinner

November 5th was a marvelous mix of feasting and fine music at the annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser hosted by the middle school. Members of the community could purchase a ticket for five to ten dollars to enjoy music, food, and raffles, as well as support the district wide arts programs. Bands from both the middle and high school came together to perform, and volunteers ran the food and cleanup aspects of the event. The middle school jazz band opened the night, followed by the high school jazz workshop and jazz ensemble. The jazz ensemble played a variety of jazz hits, including “Orange Sherbet”, “Bossa Nueva”, “Moon Over Cuba”, “Mas Que Nada”, and “Royal Garden Blues”. All of the bands were fantastic and the volunteers did a great job running the night smoothly.
