Fine Arts Fest Recap
On May 19, 2016 Norwell High School hosted their annual district wide Fine Arts Festival. With pieces from the elementary schools to Norwell’s Council on Aging, the night was an amazing display of all the talent and creativity within Norwell. Some highlighted work included Scholastic Art Award recipients, receiving recognition for their exceptional talent, creativity and vision. These recipients included Sahana Bail and Devon Bailey, both receiving Gold Key Awards for their impressive painting and drawings, and Ethan Wu receiving a Silver Key for his photography. Other artists, such as Amy Joseph, were able to convey a powerful message through their work, advocating for gender equality. Overall, the festival was impressive, reminding us of all the artistic talent our town contains.
