The Conscious Clipper, Second Edition

Even as Norwell begins “Dreaming of a White Christmas,'' the town’s enthusiasm for the Environment has not been daunted by snow. Just last week, the NHS Environmental Coalition journeyed through the falling snow to the Vinal Elementary School, where Principal Thorsteinson enlisted the club’s help to educate kids about a program Vinal School is calling “Waste-Free Wednesday”. If Vinal school stopped making all waste every Wednesday, the school could keep 120 pounds of trash out of landfills every week. That’s like removing 17 Xbox systems from the dumpsters, or 240 iPhones, or 126 TI-84s.
